Specializations

Profiles of the graduates

Mechanical engineering:

The graduates know the basic properties of materials, they are able to choose suitable technologies to process them. They know principles of meassuring and regulating devices and have basic knowledge of working on CNC machines.

Electrical engineerig:

The wide range of subjects gives the students knowledge of high and low-tension technology. They choose their specialization during the second part of their studies. It is possible to study either energetics or power electronics.

Weak-current electrical engineering:

The major subjects in this specialization are automation and microprocessor technology, electronics and measurement. During the second part of their studies, the students choose their specialization - either automatic controlling systems or communication technology.

Computing systems:

The graduates will be able to install and control operating systems and other kinds
of software, use PCs for industrial applications and make programs in DOS, WINDOWS and other environments. They will also know the technical part of computing, componets and accessories of a PC.

Technical lycee:

The graduates of this specialization, which is halfway between secondary technical school and grammar school, have less technical knowledge but deeper knowledge of general subjects. They are able to speak two foreign languages, as studying both English and German is compulsory for them.
