<p><b>Nová stránka</b></p><div>Webmail je pojem pro klienta pro čtení pošty za pomoci WWW prohlížeče (obvyklý způsob pro veřejné služby elektronické počty). V Red Hat Linuxu verze 8.0 je k dispozici program SquirrelMail, který je naprogramován v jazyce PHP. Pro jeho správnou fukci nainstalujte balíčky imap, httpd, php, php-imap a xinetd. Pak je potřeba restartovat WWW server Apache (pokud již běžel), povolit službu IMAP a restartovat démona xinetd:<br />

$ chkconfig imap on<br />
$ /etc/init.d/xinetd restart<br />

Správnou funkci ověříme spojením na port 143 (imap) a přihlášením na URL http://server.test.cz/webmail/ (viz minulý příklad).</div>
